Touched by greatness

Starting pitcher Ryan Vogelsong receives this year’s Willie Mac Award, given annually to the an active San Francisco Giant who exemplifies leadership, one of the many qualities that made hall of famer Willie McCovey stand out. 

Doesn’t hurt that he’s having a Cy Young caliber season after years of toiling in the minors and mediocrity.
