Hipster Bishes ; That's that shit I don't like

Okay it’s probably just the wildlife/pre-vet major in me…………

but it INSTANTLY pisses me off when I get on tumblr and see pictures of little hipster girls holding baby sea turtles

I don’t think you all realize that even touching a baby sea turtle, let alone picking one up is extremely illegal. They’re endangered as fuck and yall don’t realize how badly you’re fucking up their chances of survival by picking them up just for fucking notes. They rely on a natural sense of direction (visual cues, wave orientation, and magnetic orientation) to find their way to the ocean before a predator gets them and when you pick them up and put them back down and take pictures with the flash on, it severely fucks up that sens.

Bottom line is, leave them the fuck alone. If you wanna help, walk next to them while they make their way to the sea. Don’t fucking touch them and force them to be in your craptastic, unoriginal hipster picture. For the sake of sea turtles and angry wildlife conservationists everywhere , please leave them the hell alone.
