I am home with nothing to do again, surprise. and I am flipping through the channels and I stop on animal planet. It’s this program Wild Russia okay. and I am completely in love with it. So I keep watching and there’s wolves and I love wolves and beautiful scenery and all. And it cuts to a bit about ravens. The narrator says that it’s time for the ravens to have fun; and the ravens start rolling about in the snow. And then the narrator says that ravens are one of the few animals that are silly just because. They’re also very intelligent birds. and watching these ravens roll around in snow and caw/laugh, I am crying. I can’t describe how beautiful it is. Birds can laugh. And they are so happy. They’re not cruel to each other and they are just rolling around together and laughing. And the narrator’s emphasis on the word adult. The adult ravens roll around and laugh. How amazing is that? These birds grow up but do not lose their sense of child or the ability to have innocent fun. I just want to be a happy raven in Siberia.
