So …….
On Wednesday I had a very hectic and kinda stressful day. I was getting my collection for Old Navy finalized and I was working on a Givenchy collection for Advanced sketching. I was mostly worried about getting my Old Navy presentation together because it could possibly lead to an internship over the summer and I really wanted to try and get into the program!!! So they picked them up at 8 am on Thursday for the first round of the process for the internship. I was very nervous because I haven’t applied for an internship with a big company. Any ways I had French this morning so I was completely ignoring my phone and after class got out I had a couple of texts and a voice-mail. AND IT WAS FOR AN INTERVIEW WITH OLD NAVY!!!
So I did the interview and I believe it went pretty well. I asked about the work environment and I’m not gonna lie it sounded quite intimidating, but that really made me want the internship even more. I do love a challenge! So I sent my collection with them and by this up coming Monday I should know if I’ll be in San Francisco for the summer!!

to all of my lovely friends you i have loved for the past 9 years. I’m sorry if you’re going through rough tough depressing hard stressful embarrassing confusing crazy times. But i really like you all. and i miss you guys. so this summer lets forget everything and make some freaking great memories together. much love to all of you.
There’s this guy in one of my classes who has really been making me angry lately
He was cool at the beginning of the year but I’ve come to realize that he’s just a really big jerk?
Like on Facebook he posts a lot of sexist posts and images (usually from 4chan). A lot of the time it’s “nice guys never get the girl” kind of stuff. He broke up with his girlfriend earlier in the year so he’s been complaining about it ever since
And now in my Humanities course we have to do a final project that centers around a social justice issue of our choice, and he’s doing his about obsesity, and he’s focusing his project around this insane statistic he found that “for every starving person there’s two obese people” (I’m paraphrasing that ratio but you get the idea)
Obesity does not correlate at all with starvation. A lot of starvation in the world is due to poverty, war, and natural disasters, not if some people weigh more than others.
So TLDR he’s a fat-shaming jerk who has just been really making me angry lately, and I really needed to get this off my chest
It's almost over!
Finishing finals all this week and the beginning of next and then SPRING BREAK!!!! I must say I’m excited for next quarter mostly because I’m taking French, so I’m on the start to crossing it off my bucket list. Also hopefully over spring break I’m going to be uploading some of my work from my fashion sketching and textiles class to show y’all what a fashion student does! I hope everyone is having a fantastic time doing what they’re doing!!! I miss you all and can’t wait to see you over summer!!!
