Wig Commission Price Guide - Supernova Styles

So one of the most Frequently Asked Question I’ve EVER had was: “How much are your wigs?”

Since I’ve been asked this so many times, I decided to write out a guide fully explaining in detail what kind of price range you can expect based on what you ask for. Now remember, this is a guide strictly based on how I ship my wigs, and what charges I decide are best for me and my experiences. Other people may be cheaper, or cost more, depending upon their own personal choice, lifestyle, and experience. Since my price ranges vary so much depending upon what is requested- I thought it preferable I break it down based on wig length/style, explain how special styling requests apply- and then explain all the excess variable costs.

Length/Style Explanations—-*These prices vary by 20.00-40.00 if you are a customer who is NON-US

RUSH Charge- When someone wants a wig within a week of payment. If I have to place you in priority over previous orders, the charge will apply.

Short Wigs:

Simple Short These costs INCLUDE: Wig (33-39$) Wig Head (5$) Products (5$) and Shipping (15$)

Usually around 75.00$ - 110.00$ (RUSH 8.00)

Intermediate Short

90.00$ - 130.00$ (RUSH 20.00$)

HEAVY Styling Short

130.00$ - 200.00$ (RUSH 30.00$)

Medium Wigs These costs INCLUDE: Wig (44-49$) Wig Head (5$) Products (7$) and Shipping (15$)

Simple: 90.00-130.00 (RUSH 8.00)

Intermediate: 120.00-160.00 (RUSH 20.00)

Heavy: 180.00-230.00 (RUSH 50.00)

LONG Wigs: Wig (69$) Wig Head (5$) Products (9$) and Shipping (15$)

Simple: 120.00-135.00

Intermediate: 130.00-170.00

HEAVY: 180.00-250.00

Special Requests:

Custom Wig Dyes:

20.00 to overall price.

I know it seems easy, but sometimes dyes can make a wig a nightmare, it takes a proper mixture, and, while most of the time- everything works beautifully, there are times in which I get a hold of wig fibers that refuse to take- ETC, things that just make my labor time skyrocket. So I decided to make this its own special request charge.

Lace Fronts/Wig Fronts These wigs are typically 55-65$ When you order a lace front, you will almost always inevitably land in the 160.00-220.00 zone.

Depending upon the style, this can make a short wig the same price as a long wig, and can really be a game changer on your quote! So please take caution when thinking of your price ranges!

Accessories:

Basically any item outside of the normal styling- if you want me to hunt down a hat, and paint it for your wig, make bands, a clip, what have you- it will generally drive the price up depending upon the time deemed necessary for supplies, hunting the items down, and the like!

EXCEPTIONAL Styles:

Another big spender are special styling requests that are outside of my general, it can actually change the price of your wig quite dramatically! It’s important to note what kind of styles you want- I wouldn’t want you be offended if I asked you for a hefty sum for these kinds of specialty orders! So always keep this in mind when ordering!

Other necessities:

Wig caps, wig heads, styling supplies, clips for longer wigs, bobby pins packing tape, boxes, and shipping ALL determine your final quote. Generally, longer wigs have more weight, and cost more in shipment prices, while heavy styling wigs will cost more in styling supply prices. If you have a long wig that needs a few clips sewn in, that may be included in your labor and supply cost. Things like that are all worth mentioning, generally the prices total upwards of 1/4 cost of the actual WIG. While people who don’t live in the US generally have to pay more to ship through customs and the like! The UK can sometimes add a sum of nearly 48-60 dollars onto the total!
