Easy Way to Clean Your Pores

Please don’t waste your money buying those expensive nose pore strips. I just saw a wonderful way to clean your pores with the things you have in your house. What you need:

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 inch of toothpaste

That’s it! The salt acts like an exfoliator and the toothpaste further opens your pores.

You want to open up your pores first, either by steaming or by putting a warm wet towel to your nose. Then, mix the salt and toothpaste together. Smear that combination on your nose. Don’t rub it yet!

Wait five minutes or so. You will feel that cool feeling in that time. Then rub it on the sides of your nose and all over like you’re exfoliating. Once you feel that you got most of it, rinse it off with warm water. Then pat dry.

Either rub an ice cube or a towel with cold water to seal the pores. Use a moisturizer to prevent drying.

Your nose should look a lot cleaner than before. I hope this helps!

Zone One! Tuesday!

Colson Whitehead talks about his new book “Zone One” and our culture’s fascination with zombies.

Side note: It seems like the entire world received a preview copy of this book while I have to wait in line at Powell’s like a chump. How do I get on this list? I have influence! (I have no influence)

“The worship of God is not a rule of safety, but an adventure of the spirit.”

I am completely and totally ready for process theology to take over my life.
