Which SD card is the fastest for the Fujifilm X-Pro1?
When using the Fujifilm Finepix X-Pro1 there’s a lag when the red light on the the back of camera indicating that the internal buffer is writing to the SD card. This temporarily prevents the camera from taking any more pictures. So my key objective was to reduce this time.
3 Different SD cards give significantly different results!
Here’s my test results.
Method - time with a stopwatch 3 auto-bracketed shots (1 F stop) recording RAW + Fine JPG, from the moment the shutter is released to when red light stops flashing
Results
Sandisk Ultra 16GB 15MB/s - 15 seconds
Sandisk Extreme Pro 16GB 45MB/s - 9 seconds
Sandisk Extreme Pro 16 GB 95 MB/s - 6 secondsEnough to make a real difference in the field!
