Wow.

It’s crazy knowing we used to be.. Like that, and now, in the span of what seems similar to that of a fruit fly’s life, it’s completely different.

Everything, all those sweet nothings, random “I miss you” texts, cute gestures, adorable moments, the affection, the chemistry, the star-crossed like we were absorbed by.. Gone.

I remember when I wasn’t iffy about texting you. I remember when I had the assurance of knowing that you cared as much as I did, and maybe at times, even more than I did. I remember when you used to make my day when I least expected it. All the late nights and early mornings.. And working so hard to see each other, taking advantage of every opportunity.. Even if it was just for a moment.

Things change so fast and so drastically.

Thinking about how we used to be like that is so surreal. It seems almost fake, like it was all just a really long, but fantastic, dream.

I guess you just woke up sooner than I did. While I’m still over here struggling to even open my eyes.

Sigh, what a shame, though. I miss it. I miss you..
