Taiwan February 2011

February was all about vacations. I only worked for 10 days in February, because there was Chinese New Year, and there was the week that Len, Gina and Carlos visited me.

We spent New Year with our relatives.

Mother’s side relative in Taipei. We also went to Taipei Flora Expo.

And saw cherry blossoms at Yang Ming Shan.

Len, Carlos and Gina came over, and we went to Pingxi for the Lantern Festival.

We also went to the Flora Expo.

This is in front of a really expensive hotel called Old England in Nantou, we didn’t stay there, we just took pictures.

We went to Cing Jing farm. It was really foggy that day.

We had tea time at our hotel.

We went up He Huan Shan to see snow!

Then we went to Taroko Gorge.

We also went to Windows on China theme park. It had a water ride, according to Gina, the mother of all water rides, we rode it without raincoats and we got really wet, so we had to buy tshirts, matching Doraemon tshirts.

We also went to Leofoo Village, a theme park in Hsin Chu.

We went to Danshui, and had a picnic at Alethia University. Sushi and Hello Kitty cakes.

We rode the crystal Maokong Gondola again.

And had tea in Maokong.

Then we rode the ferris wheel and carousel at Miramar.

My sister and I met up with our high school friend, Phoeberry and walked around Shida area the whole day.

We went to see a concert afterwards, by “We Save Strawberries” at the Wall in Gongguan.

Ji Hen celebrated his 3rd birthday.
