What's A Date, Anyway? | Dylan & Kimberly

It was a horrible thing. Not once in her lifetime of playing board games did the young girl ever believe she would lose. And not to just anyone; Dylan. The new kid. Man, her friends from back home would be ashamed if they could see her now. Nonetheless, the young girl had only the best of intentions for the date ahead of her. She hadn’t ever actually been on a date before, so she stood there wondering what it was that people did on dates.

She had seen movies where dates were supposed to be super sweet and romantic and the guy usually leaves thinking that this girl is the one. She highly doubted that was realistic though. Nonetheless, she dressed in somewhat nice attire. A nice blue sheer tank top with a black collar and her black Bermuda shorts.

Once finished getting ready she waited down in the lobby, like they had planned on that dreadful day when she lost her first game of Sorry since she was four.

London 2012 Olympics: LaShawn Merritt's victory in drugs ban test case gives hope to banned Britons

Hmmm. Need to think about this.

Looks like Millar might be competing in the Olympics afterall.

As any regular readers of my blog know, my thoughts on dopers are harsh, but do allow for atonement:

“Caught the first time - 2 year ban, stripped of EVERYTHING you have ever won. Even if it was 10 years ago and you were clean… that’s your punishment.

Caught the second time - lifetime ban, allowed NO involvement whatsoever with the sport ever again. This includes coaching, director sportifs, management, soigneur, or even sweeping the team bus. All your prior history in the sport will be wiped from the record books. It will be like you never existed’.

The Creator Of Harvest Moon Inside Harvest Moon

Yasuhiro Wada,

the man behind the Harvest Moon games and current President of Marvelous Interactive, cleared time out of his day to make a cameo in Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness.

The tribal tower guard known as Wada is based on the creator of the Harvest Moon series.

Wada-san, to the best of my knowledge, doesn’t dress in a tunic in real life. He wore a suit when I met him and looked like this with longer hair.

Whoever designed the Wada character in Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness used their imagination and Wada-san must have a sense of humor since it’s rather unusual to see a Japanese corporate executive show up in a video game as a caveman.

lol
