Green, minty, and coming to a spot near you, The Havana Club Mojito Embassy is (surprise!) a specialty mojito bar. There’s a fresh DIY Mojito Market and Market Bar, and even a true-to-form live Cuban entertainment in its Cantinero Bar.
While only in Milan for a few weeks, the club is set to go on tour, with Brussels, Portugal, and France soon in sight.

It’s no short order to get the cosmopolitan shoppers of Shanghai to embrace alternative brands. But massive inverted staircases and upside-down mannequins will pretty much do the trick.
ALTER, a concept store owned by Sonja Long and designed by Francesco Gatti of 3Gatti Architecture Studio, is about “inverted values, alternative beauties and subverted point of views”, a vision that was definitely realized in the 100sqm space.
Aésop has always been the strong, silent label of the beauty industry. Almost pharmaceutical in its branding, the company’s been churning out its premium products in amber-brown bottles and black and white labels for over 20 years now. Simple and straightfoward. Kind of like its stores.
One favorite is the branch in Flinders Lane in Melbourne. Designed by Rodney Eggleston and Anne-Laure Cavigneaux of March Studios, made entirely of industrial-grade cardboard. “It’s clear it’s a very tactile environment,” notes the store manager. “Most people come in and tend to want to touch it all.”
