I have watched the first episode of Vikings and hot damn, I think I got a history!boner when that sail unfurled. All my love for the might and power of the 19th century British navy, and for the elegant speed of the late clipper ships, but damn is there anything finer on water than a good old-fashioned dragon-headed Viking longship?
