Sigur Ros Challenge Day 11-What's your fave and least fave song from "Agaetis Byrjun" and why?
my faves are olsen olsen, agaetis byjrun,and vidrar vel til loftarasa. 1) they were some of the first sigur ros songs i’d heard and i loved them all to death 2) the live versions of these songs are amazing(well the heima version is really cozy when it comes to agaetis byjurn and olsen olsen).
least fave…i don’t really have a least favorite from that album. although i will say i’m not too fond of the recorded version of ny batteri. i guess it’s just cause i’m so used to listening to the liver version from inni that i kinda spoiled it for me. whoops.
Sigur Ros Challenge Day 6- What is your favorite music video and why?
well if kveikur hadn’t come out today then i would’ve said vidrar vel til loftarasa. but no seriously, vidrar is my fave. it’s tied with glosoli and brennisteinn but let’s just say vidrar.
i like it cause it’s got an interesting plot to follow up and jfc those boys were cuties. also for the fact that the guys themselves were in the video (i thought it was cute that jonsi was the soccer coach and georg was the ref or whatever. i don’t remember what kjarri and orri were doing). i also like it cause the whole thing was in s l o w m o t i o n…
but yes. i also admired how they were able to take a ten minute song and squeeze it down into a seven minute video. and that takes time and a lot of patience (i know this because of my broadcast journalism class). so yeah. that’s it i guess.
