kickstarter.comFor any of you who never checked it out, Offworld was a great little internet hub for indie game info, discussions, art, news, etc., that started in 2008 and suddenly went silent in late 2009. Thankfully, the blog’s editor-in-chief, Brandon Boyer, has been hard at work laying plans for its successor - Venus Patrol.
I was originally going to talk about how great this idea is and how you should donate money to the Kickstarter fund - until I read the updates and saw that: a) the Kickstarter campaign is over, and b) Brandon and crew hit their goal in 24 hours. They’ve since doubled their goal amount (!!!).
