VEGAN SNACK GIVEAWAY! READ BELOW

## Free Vegan Snack Sample Giveaway! ##
————————————————————————-
So, as of late I’ve been toying around in the kitchen and I came up with a pretty good chia cracker snack. So far I’ve made it in a “cheesy” sort of flavor (very mild) and a “spicy” flavor, and I’m working on a chipotle flavor as well. I want to gauge interest and see if tumblr vegans would be interested in buying my snacks! My roommates have been raving about them and I know you guys will, too.
Winners of this giveaway will recieve:
- One small bag original chia crackers
- One small bag spicy mix chia crackers
- One small bag chipotle chia crackers
IMPORTANT: At this time, I am also gauging interest in purchases. If you are interested in purchasing full-size amounts of any of the above-mentioned items, please contact me through my ask box. I need at least 10 people who would for-sure order before I’m able to sell these. A small bag would run $5 and a large back $10, and if you pre-order while the giveaway is going on, shipping is free.
These would make great holiday gifts for your friends & family, vegan or otherwise!

Superfood snack time!
Since I don’t really eat processed foods, and I definitely don’t eat potatoes or gluten, my snack food ventures tend to be pretty corn chip-centric. I don’t mind all that much, but sometimes, I get bored. You can only eat chips and salsa or chips and hummus for so long before you need a little more variety in your snacking life. Besides, if you know me, you know how much I love snacks.
Recently, I went away for two months, and a friend of mine brought this amazing treat to my going away party. I thought you had to have a dehydrator to make these, but you don’t! An oven will suffice!
KALE CHIPS
- kale cut up into smaller pieces
- sea salt
- olive oil
- seasoning…this could be anything your little heart desires!! i like garlic powder, minced onions, and Bac’uns, but you could use curry powder, cajun seasoning, lemon pepper…the possibilities are endless!
These are literally the easiest things ever. Just preheat the oven to about 350, tear up the kale and put it in a mixing bowl. Drizzle on some olive oil and shake in your seasonings. Mix. Put it on a baking sheet. Cook for about ten minutes, but just keep checking in on it every once in awhile. They should be crispy but not completely brown. Most ovens don’t really cook evenly, so you’ll probably have some that are more brown and some that are more green, which I think is perfect.
Fun kale facts:
Kale has a shitload of nutrients, including massive amount of vitamin K and A, one serving is nearly 100% RDA of vitamin C, and it also has calcium, protein, and iron!
Kale is actually a member of the same family as cabbage.
If you’re ever hungry when you’re out and about, keep your eyes down. People and businesses like to use decorative “flowering kale” (it’s usually purple or white and green) in their gardens and planters. When nobody’s looking, take a bite! YUM! :D
