So I have no other homestuckd at my school so my friends and I made a deal that for every note this gets they have to read a page of homestuck. Please help me bring homestuck to my school it gets lonely being the only one that like homestuck

As Otakon is coming up, Sara and I thought it would be a good idea to have a stress free and all around fun meet up to help with post-con depression, a disease from which we all suffer.

Welcome to the event page for ZOOSTUCK 2!! All homestucks in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas are invited to take over the National Zoo in Washington DC.
Where: The National Zoo main pedestrian entrance on Connecticut Ave. Right by the “Zoo” sign made of concrete and the two giant lion statues. ADMISSION TO THE ZOO IS FREE!
When: Sunday, August 12th 2012. 12:00-12:30 – 7 pm
Cosplay: Wear cosplay if you want but it isn’t necessary. However, please be appropriate. Dress for the correct weather and don’t be too revealing. Masks that cover your entire face will not be allowed. Grey troll makeup is also a no for this event. Horns are fine as long as they aren’t too huge. NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND. No big hammers, sickles, guns, etc. This is a public place and weapons will not be tolerated. They could get us in huge trouble with security.
Behavior: This shouldn’t be necessary but as the fandom has a bad reputation and please don’t make it worse. Just be appropriate. THIS DOES NOT MEAN TO NOT HAVE FUN AND NOT MESS AROUND, just don’t do stupid stuff.

Location: Sandy Point State Park (Beach) in Annapolis, MD
Date and Time: (Tentative) July 20, 2013 from 1-6 PM
We would all meet near the entrance to the beach, fairly close to the bathhouse, and will wait there for roughly half an hour before moving to find a location to settle down. Everyone is in charge of getting to the beach themselves for this meetup, though if this goes well, I may look into tour buses for future Beachstucks.
Food:
The park has some grassy picnic areas with grills we could visit if we’d like to have a picnic! We’d all have to bring some food to make it work, though. In order to reduce trash cleanup, bringing your food or water in a cooler would be useful! There is also a concession stand there, however, if people would prefer to get their food there.
Cost:
$5 per Maryland resident, $7 per non-Maryland resident.
Cosplay:
As this is a beach, and we don’t want to pollute the waters, please DO NOT wear any grey makeup! Similarly, it will be hot out, so try to refrain from heavy costumes as well. Very basic cosplay is permitted, but please keep it simple; you will likely be swimming, after all!
Things to Remember:
Please remember to bring a swimsuit, at least one towel, plenty of water, and sunscreen! Tents are not permitted, but I’m fairly sure that umbrellas should be alright. Also, please keep in mind that there are jellyfish in these waters if you go out far enough!
If this goes well, maybe we could have a larger trip to Ocean City at some point, but I thought that a day trip would be a good place to start!

Okay, so i was going to host a meetup at the national zoo on the 27th (next saturday)!! It’s a cosplay meetup, but as always, that’s optional, though i would like to say please NO PAINT (including the face paint of the makaras) and please please please use your own discretion with the horns. You have to remember youre in a public setting where they can be off putting and not everyone understands your creativity and drive to cosplay your favorite character as best as you can! As always, the zoo is free but food is expensive. If you’d like, you can bring something to eat and/or share with everyone! We’ll be walking about the zoo and eventually stop at a pavilion for lunch.
Where; We’ll be meeting at the lion entrance of the national zoo
When; April 27th from 11 - 5 (though youre welcome to come late or leave early)
Cost; It’s free! Though you may want to consider bringing food to share!
PLEASE remember you’re in public and behave accordingly! If i see anyone behaving poorly ill call you out on it and ask you to rethink your choices and once again NO GREY PAINT
