New User Feature: Choose Your Own Sorting Adventure
You asked, and we’ve answered! There are now more sorting options for our OVCers who are logged into their user account.
If you have one of our free user accounts, you know that the top sorting bar on the site looks slightly different depending on whether you are logged in or not. When you are logged in, you automatically only see the contests you’re eligible for based on where you live and when you were born.
But what if you want to see ALL the contests we’ve posted on the site or want to sort with the options only available to you when you’re logged out? Now you can!
Win any good contests lately?
Lots of OVCers have gone on to greatness and won cash and prizes in the video contests they’ve entered. Are you one of them? If so, we want to see your winning videos and help you show off a little!
Share your winning video (Grand Prize or Runner Up) for any video contest you found on OVC by submitting to our Winner’s Page. You’ll join the elite ranks of past OVC winners, plus your achievement will forever be placed on your profile page.
And, if we really love your work, you could go on to be a Featured OVCer and we’ll spotlight your video on every page of the site for a couple days. Super cool!

@kchensays と一緒に #Instabreakin ブレイクダンス
ロサンゼルス中心街の軽工業都市の街並みからシカゴヒルズの素晴らしい展望まで、きっとそこで Kevin Chen（Instagramユーザ名 @kchensays）がブレイクダンスを踊ったことがあるでしょう。
Kevinは8月に初めて #instabreakin の写真を投稿し、それからずっと自分のスキルを、ロサンゼルスの様々な景色と共に、100枚を超える #instabreakin の写真で披露してきました。
Chenは8年生（中学2年生）のときからブレイクダンスを続けていて、外に出て都市を見るための言い訳として写真を使っています。「写真を撮るために新しい場所を探検するのがいつも大好きで、それはある意味、探検して新しい場所を見つけるのが毎日の生活から逃れる手段だからさ。」
Kevinはほとんどの写真を三脚とゴムバンドとカメラタイマーアプリを使って撮っていて、機会があれば #jumpstagram のパイオニアの @DaveedGamboa と一緒に冒険しています。
InstagramからTime Magazineへ
Bobby Ghosh (@ghoshworld) は、後にTIME Magazine (@time) に掲載されることになるInstagramの写真を撮ったときのことを覚えていません。 彼が言うには「純粋に偶然の幸運」で撮ることができたそうです。
Bobbyがタハリール広場 (Tahrir Square) での抗議集会の真っ只中にいたとき、催涙ガス弾が飛んできました。考えるより先に、足元に弾が着地すると同時に彼はiPhoneでシャッターを切っていました。その後、安全な場所に避難してからその写真に気付いてInstagramで共有することに決め、TIMEの写真編集者はそこで最初に目に留めることになります。「いい写真だとは分かってたけど、どれぐらいいいのかは確信が持てませんでした…ニューヨークシティのやつらが雑誌に掲載したいと言ってきたときは、本当に驚きましたよ。」
その写真はBobbyの700枚以上あるInstagramの写真の中で一番の注目を集めています。「みんなあの写真の、催涙ガス弾が着弾して散り散りに逃げるエジプト人たち、という人間ドラマに反応してるように思います。どういうわけか、僕はこの電子的瞬間を捉えたみたいです。」
BobbyはTIME Magazineの編集特別委員 (editor-at-large) として世界中を飛び回っては、Instagramの写真をTime.comにある自分の食べ物写真ブログ GhoshEatsにおもに投稿しています。
