everyone should fucking re-read homestuck at the same time and act as if they’ve never read it before and act all shocked when shit happens and we can have a different upd8 tag like postupd8 or some shit idk I just think it’d be funny and we could all make fan art and everyone would be happy and people who are actually reading it for the first time wont be so scared to talk to other fans

A several-month hiatus is upon us. Let us learn from John about the correct way to handle this:

The website has stopped updating. No new pictures to be seen.

All the dear characters we’ve come to enjoy are missing.

We will be so very, very bored.

We will rewatch old flashes.

We will start on ill-conceived and elaborate Homestuck projects.

But in the end, Homestuck will return.

And absence will have made the heart grow fonder.
