ugh this s8 rewatch i’m doing is making me more emotional over the smallest things than i had anticipated

but in 8.14!!! he comes back to garth’s boat after having gone shopping and he’s so enthusiastic over his produce discoveries!!!

and he’s so adorable and eager to appreciate the small delights of life like making his brother a homemade burger and arrange his room just so which just makes me think of how absolutely ecstatic he’s gonna be to show and experience all these things with Castiel too ;u;

“Cas, man, you just have to try these peaches, they’re so juicy and ripe,” Dean’ll grin as he pulls Cas over to a market stall with free samples.

Of course, his grin will falter as he gets more and more transfixed by the way Cas bites into that peach, by the way his lips curl around the fuzzy skin of it to reach that sweet—
