RIGHT?!? Like, with the other Avatars their parents have been a nonissue, but it’s something that I really wondered about with Aang, and I’m like—they’re so adorable! Her mom is so frazzled and her dad is so ENORMOUS and LOVELY and they seem so sweet together and, man, what is it like, having and loving a child who has this ENORMOUS DESTINY and basically belongs to the world, not to you? How much input did they have on her upbringing? Did the White Lotus dudes just take her off to the compound when she was four? How often did they get to see her? I WANT MORE FROM YOU TWO, OKAY.
