As some of you may know...

The BBC allows for up and coming writers to submit scripts for tv shows, movies, radio dramas etc to them, with the chance of getting that writer into the industry, letting them meet contacts and if their ideas are good enough, actually creating the show. Their next deadline is the 31st October, and I was thinking of submitting something. But I wanted to ask you guys first, what kinds of things would you like to see in a show created by the BBC?

“''As every woman knows there's a great scarcity of men in general and an even greater scarcity of any that are good for much'' ”

—Jane Austen (Miss Austen Regrets, 2008)

Idea for a show: Dante's Peak.

Made for TV redux version of the 90s disaster movie. Pierce Brosnan plays canonical writer Dante Alighieri, who must cope with being at the peak of his career. writing his seminal work ‘The Devine Comedy’ whilst a previously dormant volcano threatens a nearby town.
