Anyone else feel like there’s some (largeish) piece of the puzzle missing in the Turkey story? It’s like it went from a bunch of hippies pulling a Julia Butterfly Hill (and kudos to them for doing so) to the police losing their damn minds (by even the government’s admission) in a matter of moments.
The protests were going on for 3 days before things went south like this, what happened yesterday?
