I honest to God, do not understand the whole ‘Tumblr/Teen fame’ thing. Dakota, Venus, Jamjars, Charlotte Free, Aly, Feelice, etc, correct me if I’m wrong but as far as I’m aware they’re all just teenage boys and girls. Just like any other teenage boy or girl, like me, my friends, my friends friends, the people I went to school with. I don’t understand how they can post one thing on the internet and have thousands and thousands of people pay far too much attention to it and look into it, send them messages saying ‘You’re my idol’ ‘I love you’ etc, wear t-shirts with their face on? Really now? What have they actually done? Apart from have a pretty face or a stick-thin figure. Apart from cause so much drama over the littlest thing and constantly draw attention to themselves. I know people prettier than those girls, intelligent and endlessly talented people that have taught me life lessons and achieved highly. I know teenagers that have been/will be in the army. I know teenagers that have been through more than I can comprehend, but still have more respect for themselves and others than some of those teens with their faces all over the internet. Where’s their recognition? Where’s their over-flowing inbox of hope and wishes? I just don’t understand. I don’t understand how people can be so triggered by them either, saying they starved themselves ‘cause they ‘wanted to look like Aly’. I wouldn’t think of doing anything like that. They don’t ‘inspire’ me and I don’t ‘wish to be them’. C’mon guys, I can wear a ‘hipster’ tie-die top and pierce my nipples and make videos of me rapping to shitty songs, love me too? No, it’s stupid man.

This may sound incredibly jealous, but it’s not. I’d hate to trend on the internet. I’d rather live my own private life with my handful of friends. I’d rather be able to post something on my blog and know that probably zero people actually give a shit.

I think You lose yourself in the process. why do it? why waste time and money on things based on “popularity” or being liked for what you look like. I can understand you wanting to look good, but when people can see you just look like everything you -reblogg- or talk about it just seems like you aren’t comfortable with being YOU. Them “tumblr girls” you don’t even know. they just Look the part. when you manage your time on being like something you don’t even understand yourself what do you become?? a shell. You will just look the part. that’s all. to me that is. Don’t change who you are to Fit a Screen, or a Label, or just to be complimented. Change to better yourself. Change to better your character first, if need be! Because it’s how it looks on the INSIDE that truly matters here. But to change how you act or look because you’ve been mind boggled into such mockery, is just that, a mockery on your naive little mind. Being sub controlled by what ‘Society’ picks and chooses what you “want.”  False advertising and such.You wanna be a “tumblr girl” So be it.trying a new thing, Okay. Have fun& get creative ADD YOUR OWN TOUCH TO IT! But remember, to be a tumblr girl you gotta pick a Category!!!! and know what it is..=-=. LOL.
But most of all Ladies, Don’t Lose yourself in the process. Don’t let it get to your head with the played on “Fame” of tumblr. Don’t climb the Fictitious latter of “Popularity” or “beauty”. It May not matter in the near future.
