Sign uphey leftist men
yeah, you
i see you posting stuff about being feminists or feminist allies and being anti-sexism
that’s really good. that’s important.
but then i see you send me and other girls messages that make us uncomfortable! and that is never ok.
you should never send a woman sexual messages unless you have both established that it is ok between you two. i would even go so far as to say that the content and how far the messages go should be discussed.
even if a woman posts nudes or sexual pictures, or posts about much she likes/wants sex, or if she tells you you’re cute or anything, it is NOT ok to send her unwanted/unasked for sexual messages.
it’s gross and uncalled for and disrespectful and it can be potentially triggering.
and it seems especially manipulative because a lot of you post things on feminist lit and theory and say things like “kill all rapists”, which is good imo but unless you repect women always no amount of bell hooks you reblog will make it ok for you to be a misogynistic creep, and using your anti-sexism image to harass women is fucking gross.
- Obama: *Kills thousands of innocent people in the Middle East. Makes a law to allow assassination of American civillians. Promises to shut down Guantanamo and never does*
- Response: *Tumblr left makes some posts and gets really angry*
- Obama: *Makes a joke on tv*
- Response: *Tens of thousands of people exclaiming over the most chill and cool president ever*
I’ve just come across a short chat post circulated by the major tumblr left bloggers that claims that “capitalism” causes humans to be greedy because it “rewards greed.” So in other words, “capitalism” (however defined) has a reward system that causes people to seek reward. It incentivises people to follow incentives. Genius.
I’m not denying that many dumb libertarians exist, but it pales in comparison to the tumblr left. They’re idiots through and through.
dear tumblr left you are always vomiting irrelevant white people marxist analysis
so i have a proposition for you
discuss illegal immigration in economic terms.
discuss how undocumented migrants promote productivity in skilled workers.
discuss how undocumented workers as used as a wedge to divide workers’ movements
go on, do something interesting.
