Craig Headcanon: Coming Out
I think I eventually wanna write this in fic form but for now have some more headcanon because I am thinking about the Tuckers a whole lot today.
So Craig is pretty much gay, but he’d be a little closeted about it because he’d be afraid of his parents finding out.
Ruby of course knows, because she’s perceptive, and also snoops so eventually he’d just be like “OKAY FINE I AM GAY NOW LEAVE ME ALONE … BUT DON’T TELL MOM AND DAD OH GOD.”
And Ruby would just be like “;\ Wtf they love you like they’re gonna care if you’re gay, mom’s brother is gay.”
Craig’s just like “Yeah but THAT’S TOTALLY DIFFERENT OK.”
And because Ruby’s a dick she tries to hint at it at the dinner table sometimes. Their parents are thankfully pretty oblivious but Craig still wants to kill her.
Eventually she’s like “THEY GOTTA KNOW SOMETIME, MOM’S GONNA BE UPSET IF YOU KEEP IT FROM HER FOREVER.”
And Craig’s like “BUT NO THEY’LL DISOWN ME SOB SOB”
And Ruby’s like “:\ seriously wtf.”
So then Ruby goes to Mom & Dad and is like “MOM, DAD, you wouldn’t care if I was gay right?”
And they’re like “UHM LOL WHAT?”
And she’s like “Yeah cause I might be gay, but I know you’ll still love me no matter what.”
And they’re like “UH THIS IS SUDDEN BUT YES WE WILL LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT WE DON’T CARE.”
And then Craig is like. “Oh. Okay.”
And he comes out to them. And their parents are like “Wait what?”
And Ruby’s just like “LOL NAW JUST KIDDING. I’m not gay. But yeah Craig’s totally a homo.”
And Mom & Dad are just really confused. But they still love their kids and don’t care if they’re gay or whatever the hell just happened.
TUCKERS HEADCANON
So I’ll start off by saying that in my headcanon, Tuckers are infamous in Park County for being pretty trashy—not as bad as the McCormicks but close. Craig’s parents are actually way more well off and way more functional than most other Tuckers. Which actually isn’t saying a lot, because Craig’s family is still pretty low income, and they still have their problems and stuff.
Something about Craig’s parents I wanna get out of the way first: Thomas isn’t Craig’s biological father. He is however, still the only father Craig has ever known. There’s no real weirdness about this in the family, it’s nothing that upsets Craig, it’s just a simple fact. It doesn’t affect how much they all love each other.
Alright. Mrs. Tucker. I call her Susan. I think of her as one of the youngest moms out of all the kids. Her and Thomas married when she was probably about 20 or so.
Thomas is a good few years older than Susan. They dated while Susan was still in high school, but her parents and all of her friends had a huge problem with it, not only because he was much older, but because he was a Tucker. They eventually broke up once Thomas left town for a couple of years for a job opportunity.
Susan dated around for a while after high school, and eventually ended up with another long term relationship. It was unfortunately, a really shitty relationship. Around the time she decided she wanted out of it, she found out she was pregnant. She figured she was trapped and she was going through a really tough time at that point. After deciding that staying with that guy was her best option, he just suddenly up and left her. He couldn’t deal with the pregnancy.
Then, Thomas came back to town. He asked her out again almost as soon as he was back, and they got back together after the first date, because obviously they still loved each other. As soon as Thomas found out she was pregnant, he proposed to her. They figured if they could end up getting married before she had the baby, they wouldn’t have to worry about the town gossiping about them.
The two of them love each other very much, but unfortunately as time passed, they developed a pretty rocky relationship. They’re not very well off, so money problems often put a heavy strain on their family. Susan is pretty aggressive, while Thomas is rather passive, so unfortunately they have a lot of fights that will drag on for days. There have been times where Susan has even kicked him out before.
However, they always make up and get back together. It’s tough on their kids when they fight, but Craig and Ruby are pretty resilient kids, in fact I think their fighting affects Craig a lot more than Ruby. I think Ruby realizes it’s always gonna blow over, while Craig always assumes the worst.
They realize it’s not fair to their children when they fight, but they’re doing the best they can, and they do love Craig and Ruby. I see them always trying to make it up to the kids when stuff like that happens.
I dunno. I have some more headcanon for Susan specifically but that’s all I’ll go into for now.
So yeah. They have their problems, but they also have a lot of love for each other and for their kids.

last night was great because even though i was off ma tits i still managed to clean my teeth. also i found loads of kebab shops and we got cheesy chips and gravy and ketchup mmmm it was so good and it was the first time i’ve had food after a night out since being in brizzo (me and my exciting life). however there were no fried eggs. i really miss tuckers.
2.5 - tiffany and co & tuckers.
today was two and a half years for me a bryan.
i had my first day of the summer semester today. it started with torts and contracts, the new seemed really awesome. we got merged into one big group for the summer so we are stuck with the most ANNOYING people ever. jenny, falon, and i just made fun of them the entire time. jenny and i had lunch and then we went to communications 2. what a joke of a class, she made us line up by birthdays in silence and then made us get into groups of 3 and introduce ourselves to the class, so me falon and jenny said we were all alcoholics and she gave us a nasty look. after class the three of us went to the library and then i headed down to my dad’s store to meet bryan.
bryan and i made our way to holt renfrew to go to the tiffany and co counter. bryan bought me a “return to tiffany” necklace to match my bracelet and earrings. it was my late birthday present since he didn’t have the money for it on my birthday. i had the biggest smile on my face the entire walk over to the market, it was so nice outside. side note, we don’t celebrate things month to month but we never get out and do anything fun because we are both broke asses so we decided we needed to and since today was two and a half years we just used it as an excuse. we decided on tucker’s marketplace for dinner. had so much food and i was able to keep it healthy as well since i am on a diet. we had such a great time. we came home, had sex, and bryan has been napping on the couch while i have been doing my homework ever since.
