Why I adore Emma Swan:
After everything she’s seen, after everything she’s done since first arriving in Storybrooke, Emma still thinks she’s nothing special. The daughter of Snow bloody White and Prince freaking Charming thinks she’s just a unique snowflake like everybody else. She’s the Savior who broke the darkest curse of them all, saved her son from a sleeping curse with true love’s kiss, got sucked into a portal into a world she knew nothing about, talked about her long repressed feelings with her mom, and still managed to scale a massive beanstalk and befriend a fraking giant all in an effort to get her and her mother home. But she can’t reflect back on any of that and see how amazing she really is, and as somebody who’s always struggled with a distorted image of self-worth myself, that’s why Emma truly resonates with me. And why it’s such a show-stopping moment when Emma realizes her potential and blasts Cora.
