My favourite Doctor speech
In all my travelling throughout the universe, I have battled against evil, against power-mad conspirators. I should have stayed here. The oldest civilisation: decadent, degenerate, and rotten to the core. Power-mad conspirators, Daleks, Sontarans, Cybermen - they’re still in the nursery compared to us. Ten million years of absolute power. That’s what it takes to be really corrupt.
Trial of a Timelord Sunday, already 4 eps in, think its probably not possible to watch the entire story before tomorrow.
Also I don’t think we ever mention how much we love Colin Baker. He is so wonderful, his Shakespearean style and lovable arrogance are just so great and his speeches are the best. Can’t believe we’ve been watching Classic Who all these years and had never really got to know Six. We think its because we were always almost told to believe that Four and Five were the ‘best’ but its all down to personal taste. Anyways, on to part 5 soon.
“All my travellings throughout the universe I have battled against evil. Against power-mad conspirators. I should've stayed here! The oldest civilisation, decadent, degenerate, and rotten to the core! Ha! Power-mad conspirators, Daleks, Sontarans, Cybermen...they're still in the nursery compared to us. Ten million years of absolute power, that's what it takes to be really corrupt!”
—The Doctor reminds us once more that the Time Lords are the biggest arsebuckets in this show, The Ultimate FoeWhy no one wants to watch Dr. Who with me.
- Madam Inquisitor: We are all aware of your feelings of sorrow, Doctor. Has the recess given you sufficient time to overcome the distress of your bereavement?
- Doctor: I doubt there will ever be sufficient time for that, milady.
- Me: OF COURSE HE'S UPSET YOU GUYS KILLED HIS GIRLFRIEND LIKE TEN MINUTES AGO YOU DUMB BITCH!
