Arizona State has a new leader:

*This is Trent Lockett’s team. If you hear a player’s voice, it’s usually his. The junior wing led the Sun Devils in stretching and conditioning. He also was quick to help the younger players in certain drills and situations. Lockett looks good, too. He’s leaner, quicker.  It’s interesting. Throughout his career, Lockett never really has had to be the main go-to guy. At Hopkins High in Golden Valley, Minn., he was one of five future Div. I college players. Here, despite leading ASU in scoring last season, he’s always deferred to the upperclassmen. But this year, he becomes the focal point, and he looks up to the challenge.
