Just have to say...

I’m rewatching Transformers (2007), and it just occurred to me…most people expect movies today to be 100% without plotholes, with perfect continuity, and everything onscreen to be perfect too. This includes fans of the original Transformers series. Anyone remember that? It was absolutely RIDDLED with plotholes and continuity errors. Seriously, how many times did we see purple Autobot insignias and Decepticons with Autobot insignias, or vice versa? How many color problems were there, how many weapons were introduced once and then never seen again? Seriously! And TONS of people love that series. The continuity errors are just part of the charm. Why is it that moviemakers today are expected to be so perfect? I mean…how is it such a big deal that Bumblebee’s door was open in one shot and miraculously closed in another? OMG! Why does it matter that Megatron uses an energy flail in the first movie, and it’s never seen again? People need to learn not to expect perfection, and to love movies and TV shows and everything else for what they are, screw-ups and all.

You guys, you have no idea how much it annoys me that Mikaela Banes was never used to her full potential in the Transformers movies. Fucking Michael Bay.
