Shakira cancels "The today Show" summer concert series performance

Back in May, The Today Show announced that Shakira would be performing at their summer concert series on August 17. Shakira fans were really happy about this because she would most definitely perform her new single (tentatively titled “I Dare You”).

However, Shakira’s performance recently disappeared from the official “Today” website, something that started rumors about a possible cancellation.

Most fans expected this to be an error but when “The Today Show” were asked about it on twitter, they confirmed Shakira’s concert has been cancelled.

We’re really sorry to know this. If Shakira doesn’t announce new dates, we will get to see her until September 21 at the iHeart Radio Music Festival.
