Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision? This is going to sound really messed up, but understandable. I’d let go of my grandmother’s hand, because it’s likely what she’d want me to do. At that age, she’d be dying soon anyway, so the life of the child would make more sense to hold onto, because they haven’t had the chance to go out and live yet.
