We watched Torches grow up and now it’s time to let Torches go and one day we’ll come back to it and remember all the amazing things it did for us. Thank you Torches.

Foster The People Fandom

On some days, we loved eachother. On other, we fought with eachother.

We created the craziest OTPs and wrote amazing fanfics. 

We fell for mango and we wore denim.

Some fans loved the moustache while some other, disliked it. 

For the luckiest ones, we were proud and happy to share our concerts and meet & greets stories with everyone. 

But the most important thing in a fandom is to be a fan. And in this fandom we are all Foster The People fans! 

Eventhough some of you haven’t seen the boys in concert, you’re still fans! Everyone counts in the Torches era! Every Foster Kid/Fosterer is a Number One Fan.

we’ve been through a lot together, but tonight was definitely one of the most memorable events.
so what if the fandom isn’t perfect? so what if we don’t all agree on everything? the most important thing, what we all have in common, is our irrevocable love for this band and this album. tonight, we feel like a family.

This fandom is amazing. Yeah we had our bad moments but honestly what fandom hasn’t? 

I love you guys so much. Just as much as my real friends. Which actually is only one. So real friend. But no seriously. You guys are absolutely amazing. Not only did FTP and Torches make me who I am today, so did you guys. My tumblr experience would NEVER have been the same without you guys. 

I want to give a special shoutout to these people, who I do, or have talked to the most on tumblr.

Waste would make me tear up in general but now thinking about the era and the concert I’m sobbing so much

I just need to stop crying idk. But…. it’s like when a song puts a certain setting into your head, a specific memory.. A special feeling that you don’t feel anywhere else except for listening to that song. yeah. That’s my problem I guess..

I love ALL of you foster kids. every single one of you guys are so lovely and I wish I could hug you all right now.
