“…Fine! Okay! But no flirting!” The Doctor rolls his eyes, giving up.
“What is flirting?” The TARDIS frowns, confused.
The Doctor looks at her for a second, before shaking her head, “You’ll find out.” He mutters, before turning the corner, and walking towards where they can see Jack standing, overlooking Cardiff bay. When they near him, The Doctor sits down on the bench behind him, “Hello, Jack!” He grins. The TARDIS stands next to the bench, looking at him.
Old Ghosts || Kat & Dylan
Dylan turned circles in his room. A couple of nights ago he had slept through the scavenger hunt completely, and had missed Jason and the pandemonium that had enveloped the camp at the carnage that he had reaped. He’d been sorry to hear about all the different people that were hurt, there were so many this time. Things were only getting more and more dangerous and he had been so lucky as to have been spared any bodily injuries so far.
But then he heard that Kat had been hurt. He hadn’t given much thought about Kat prior to hearing of her injury. He’d had a wonderful night with Lavender the week before and his heart was now leaning in the direction of the confident aussie. But he remembered the first day still. I mean how could he forget? There had been a lot of people who had welcomed him with arms open. But none so much as Kat, who had decided that she would take him on a tour of the house, while conducting themselves on a corpse scavenger hunt. Of course they had found nothing, but that first escapade had left Dylan with a hunger for more of Kat. Nothing sexual or erotic, but a yearning to know her more. To be able to sit down and talk to Kat. The days had gone by and they had become pretty close, and then the night he got drunk by himself he had to write her that drunk note. Given it was 100% truthful, he still regretted that he was only courageous enough to reveal his feelings to Kat with the help of some liquid courage.
Then the night in the mess hall had turned everything upside down. He’d known she’d been involved a little with Vince, but really he hadn’t known how strong her feelings were. When Jason appeared and scared everyone into staying in the cabin, he had lost control of all common sense. He had decided to take charge and that meant looking out for the well being of everyone in the old camp that night. But then Kat had run off, and Dylan had taken it upon himself to retrieve her like he already owned her. She had been angry about that, and then as they all walked back to the cottage Vince had reappeared. Of course Dylan had gotten jealous at the sight of Kat tending to the ragged escapee, and had blown up at everyone; especially Vince. Kat by now had lost her cool and basically told him to fuck off.
So as things stood, he barely even knew if Kat ever wanted to talk to him again. But she was hurt? He moved to his doorknob and opened it slowly with a creak then stepped into the hall. Creeping down the corridor to the room with Kats name on it, he knocked and said aloud, “Kat? Can I come in?”
