And then a few weeks later, we get interviews like this
where they’re so obviously in their own little world and don’t even give a fuck that anything else is going on. And they make gay sex jokes throughout the entire interview. DIP IN, LAD. DIP YOUR WICK. You don’t make these jokes if you’re tired of everyone thinking you’re gay.
AND THEN THIS COMES OUT
A video which, obviously, is at least about a year old judging by Liam’s hair. And the thing is, it wasn’t leaked by some fan who got ahold of it. It wasn’t edited together with that music by some girl who’s trying to make it look like more than it is. IT WAS RELEASED BY 4music.com TODAY. After all this time.
Seriously, my opinion is that when Louis saw the bullshit tweet he was just like

It’s funny because the moon landing conspiracy and the 9/11 truther conspiracy theory can be shown to be unsupported if you know a bit about science and engineering… oh yeah, and there plenty of websites and articles explaining in researched detail why these theories don’t make sense.
But god forbid a group of predominantly teenage girls come up with the ~completely irrational~ conspiracy theory that two famous boys in the entertainment industry are gay and closeted. Because no one in the entertainment industry is ever gay and closeted! What a crazy idea!
If a bunch of adult men come up with a conspiracy theory, people write a bunch of articles dispassionately disproving it, and call in scientists and engineers or whatever to support their point, and it’s used as an opportunity to educate the public.
But if teenage girls come up with one then all they get is mockery and derision, because obviously teenage girls are stupid, and obviously they must be wrong, no actually research or consideration of the points they make needed! If teenage girls think something is true, let’s take the worst and stupidest of their points and over-publicize them, and completely ignore all the smart things they have to say!
Never underestimate the power of the media and society to make out teenage girls to be the stupidest people on earth.
