    Berlin

Only just over 5 weeks until I go back to Berlin and I am super excited. As I have said, its probably my third favourite city I have visited so far. Anyway, whilst I was there in March I visited Tacheles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kunsthaus_Tacheles), the ‘art gallery’ based in a former department store and then Nazi prison. The place is now taken over by independent artist squatters, some of whose art is really, really good and interesting. I am particularly fond of the Dutch artist Tim Roeloffs, so much so that I purchased prints of some of his work which now hang above my bed.
