Makorra shippers, please chill about Snowy
Okay, I know that we all tend to get irritated from all of the hate that Makorra gets. I get it - it’s a hated ship, people take shots at it. It makes us defensive, I mean, I’ve definitely had my fare share of time trying to defend it (because to be fair, while Mako did some messed up stuff, I don’t think he’s an abomination from hell, but even as a Makorra shipper, I have issues with him, and with the way that Makorra was handled in general). I still ship it, so it does get a little annoying to see it constantly under attack - in the tags.
Snowy’s post was a joke - and even if it wasn’t a joke, ze posted it on hir blog and ze has a right to feel anyway that ze wants to about Mako. We’re not all going to feel the same way about certain characters. As it stands, I could care less about Irosami, but I’m not going to go out of my way to reblog things that Irosami shippers post in order to be like “WELL THAT’S COOL BUT BOSAMI ARE FUCKING.” That’s kind of petty and unnecessary because the beauty of being apart of a fandom is that we all think the same.
Even if you disagree with Snowy, this blew up way more than was even warranted because I think Snowy has made it clear time after time that ze doesn’t care about Makorra, so what’s the big surprise?
And once again, it’s hir blog. If you want to challenge hir, why not go to hir’s askbox? Or respond in your own separate post?
Why’d you have to do this? Why do you need to say the things you’re saying? Why are you dismissing everything? I know you worked hard to fix, I know you tried to repair, but you cannot repair trust. In a long distance relationship, trust is all I could hold onto. You couldn’t be faithful not during our lows or our peaks. You couldn’t be there when I needed you and I am doing something for me. Why can’t you get that? Why can’t you understand this is your own fucking doing? Stop attacking me. Just let me sleep. Let me breathe. It’s been so long since I’ve gotten to catch my breath.
