compliments are kinda like shower gel like if u get really good shower gel u dont need very much but it’s enough to cover ur whole body and leave u feeling clean for the rest of the day but if u get cheap shower gel u need loads of it and a lot just goes down the drain and sure u feel kinda clean but not for long so like if u compliment someone once and it’s genuine then that might make them a lot happier than if u compliment them really unsincerely every day for a week
