I don’t watch Glee, but this is their version:

I’m just wondering if the creator of Glee will just call everyone homophobes again when he gets called out on this. My favorite part is how they kept his name in the song when they grabbed his cover, but didn’t credit him anywhere.

Recently, I discovered that a “musician” by the name of Luceds had stolen and reuploaded a few of my tracks to several outlets, many of which were made for sale via Bandcamp. Luceds seems to have taken my tracks (and others), rebranded them as his own, and themed them around My Little Pony in what I can only imagine is an attempt to use the popularity of that fandom to put money in his own pocket by selling stolen works. For every song that he has stolen from me, I have conclusive and demonstrable evidence dating and detailing their creation and origin (duh, because I made them!)
This list may be incomplete as I discover more of my tracks stolen by this “musician.” You can find Luceds on Twitter, SoundCloud, YouTube, and Bandcamp.

The fact that this is only what I could find immediately is staggering. Who knows if there’s more, or if this person has stolen from others? (Hint: It’s pretty damn likely).
The only comparison I’ve found connecting Luceds and myself was on the My Little Pony website Equestria Daily, where the stolen track “Two Sides of One Smile” was posted. Someone called Luceds out in the comments, but apparently deleted their comment after someone came rushing to defend Luceds. However, there was something fishy about the matter…
…Yeah. The avatar on the comment matches the art for one of Luceds’s tracks. I think I see what happened here. Whoops!
At this point I should clarify, although I should not need to, that the Equestria Daily comment is overwhelmingly false. I am most certainly NOT Luceds, and the whole thing about splitting my YouTube channel? I have never said anything of the sort, nor do I have any desire to do so in order to “make music for ponys.”
It is very, very, incredibly obvious that Luceds is using stolen music and the giant My Little Pony fandom as a platform to personal profit at the expense of hours of hard work of others. If ANYONE has ANY shadow of a doubt that the works I listed above were not entirely composed and arranged by myself, I will not hesitate to provide evidence that only I have access to, as the original creator, such as excerpts from the original project files.
This isn’t about getting Luceds to remove these blatant infringements and apologize. I have the appropriate legal methods and grounds to take care of that myself, obviously. If you or someone you know has been similarly ripped off by this person, or any other, I encourage you to do the same.
This is about awareness, because I know Tumblr is a place that is heavily invested in the MLP fandom and its creations - Luceds is a thief, plain and simple, and if you’ve given your money to his Bandcamp or followed him on Soundcloud or YouTube, you have monetarily or otherwise supported theft from artists who put their hard work and souls into their creations. I do not tolerate this, and neither should you. Please spread the word.
