About the Devil also being punished, I reflect that in the story I was telling you about briefly at Otakon. He views his dominion over Hell as a punishment.
Hell’s a really bad place, to say the least.
To put the Devil as a ruler of Hell is akin to equating him as a sort of god, and that is, well, incompatible with Christianity.
