Skin Routine Part 2

Now, EVERY TWICE A WEEK (Sundays and Wednesdays) I substitute the Biore facial cleanser with the Body Shop’s Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator. Seaweed has an anti-imflammatory compound that aids in the swelling of acne. This exfoliator is quite rough on the skin, but I’ve been using this for over a year and I love it. After using this scrub, my skin feels very soft, I don’t really know how to describe it!

Now on to my morning routine… I don’t normally wash my face, but if it’s hot or when I wake up and my face feels heavy, then I will. Usually, I just use my Tea Tree Oil toner on my face. But, if I choose to wash my face, I use Aveeno’s Skin Brightening scrub. This has microbeads or something, very small beads! And it’s very light and gentle. I used this for a week once, rather than the Biore and I felt a difference right away! My skin was softer, but this didn’t help prevent acne, so back to Biore I went, and used this as a morning scrub instead.

After all that jazz, I apply my daily moisturizer before applying my makeup. I use Aveeno’s Continuous Protection Sunblock in SPF30. I don’t know if it’s actually continuous, I personally believe that it’s a marketing scheme, but I use it because it’s OIL FREE! Yay!!! I’ve used three bottles already and I don’t plan on changing this part of my routine at all!

Enjoy! I know it’s long…but it’s your skin! It’s important!
