Ugh, the whole pregnancy thing was awful, even worse was that they only address it once. Also, Amy giving up Rory over her inability to have children infuriated me. Way to take a serious issue and reduce it down to ploy to tug on heartstrings
Agreed. Don’t even get me started on how that ties into my dislike of River in general. (I liked her a lot more pre-finding out about her childhood/history/whatever. But I dislike her for a lot of the same reasons I dislike Amy.) If they wanted to have Amy give up Rory for the baby thing, they could have at least made it an actual plot that we saw hints of through several episodes, instead of just tossing it into one episode and having it resolved and never mentioned again after that. Amy was never allowed any chance to take control of her own body or her own feelings even after, never given a chance to resolve what happened to her. Never even allowed to express the fact that her baby had been taken away from her and was now an adult whose entire life she’d missed out on and who she’ll apparently rarely ever get to see because, you know, ‘wibbly wobbly timey wimey’ and all.

My kids have only seen snow twice in their lives. My youngest, who’s still too young to remember the last time she saw it, turned to me the other day and asked, “Mommy, is snow real?”
I made them snow cones with ice from the freezer, to prove that snow is real, and then we went to the park in our shorts and short sleeved shirts.
