I finally got to the end of The Iron Queen. I thought the sadness would be from Meghan’s sacrifice, but that didn’t really get me. It was kind of like a “well shit” moment, but I wasn’t devastated. What killed me was everyone’s goodbyes and Ash’s reaction to Meghan’s releasing him from his vow and ordering him away. Even worse that now they quite literally cannot be together. T_T FFFFF
