Sign upToday is the first time in 6 months I have been emailed my payslip and been really happy with what I saw!! I think some spending may be in order, especially since its the end of the month and I haven’t hit my overdraft yet, all bills are paid and I only have to wait till Friday for my epic pay… This is a good feeling.
On another high note I may be going back to my old job. Whilst in the old bar I used to work in a bumped into my old manager Dave and when he asked how I was and I replied “Alright but still at Starbucks!” he said “Well we’re hiring” and walked away. I don’t know if this was a genuine offer of would you like to come back but my issue is I’d only return if he trained me as a Team Leader (or shift runner) and if the pay was equal to what I get now, and I’m pretty sure it isn’t but only by pennies…
Even my flat mate said he knows how happy I was in my old job, I smiled so much more (and he misses that)! I was so genuinely happy at work and then I started at Starbucks and now I can’t even fake a smile to half of the customers… I am going to email Dave and ask if he’d be willing to take me back and train me up… It’d be one step closer to my dream of being able to run my own bar.
Tonight I discovered that Gammon Steaks are cheaper than a burger at the Hancock.
And I passed up the chance to buy one, and instead kept with the mayonnaise covered shite that was the burger.
I actually got myself into a properly upset mood simply because I passed up on a cheap and delicious Gammon, Egg, and Chips combination for £4.79. I feel this says a fair amount about myself.

Haha, that’s hilarious. And unfortunate. :P
even more awkward when he followed us back upstairs.
