Destruction & Warbringer @The Whiskey A Go Go

    It was a great way to start off my summer vacation :D♥
My cousin let us borrow her car and yeahhh haha. I got there at around 6 but we didn’t go in until around 8 because my friends were drinking at some empty lot down the street.
   anyways, I went in during Velosity and then some band played, and I got my spot all the way in the front because some friends of mine were there, then Warbringer ♥ they were fucking A M A Z I N G ! I went crazy when they played Severed Reality, OH! and TOTAL WARRRRRRRRR ! and not to forget COMBAT SHOCK I was so happy, they played all of the songs I was hoping they’d play.
   Destruction put up a great show !! I went in the pit for their last 6 or 5 songs xD I went totally psycho when they played Thrash ‘till Death and Nailed to the Cross damn, ALL of their songs were good :}
   I have to admit though, that this was one of the BEST shows i’ve been to !
Down right amazing!

April 4, 9:30 at the Whisky A Go Go :D

June 1 at 8 at the Coach House opening for 2 famous coverbands, Abbey Road and Jumping Jack Flash.

This is gonna be awesome!! Both such iconic venues. I’m honored to say this will be my 4th time playing the Whisky and 2nd time opening for a major band at the Coach House.

Destruction @ the Whiskey 6/3/12

So, this is how Destruction went down.

Me, my cousin and my boyfriend were chilling at my boyfriends house, listening to music and eating before the show. Only me and my boyfriend had tickets and we figured we’d get my cousins ticket at the door after trying hard to look for someone online who happen to be selling them. SO after deciding to get them at the door, we thought we had plenty of time to get there before the touring bands begin. We left at around 6:30 and got to the Whiskey at around 8:20 to find that the tickets were SOLD OUT! My heart just broke because if we didn’t find my cousin her ticket, we wouldn’t be able to go in the show. SO thanks to my wonderful boyfriend, after hours of asking people left and right if they were selling tickets, some chick had yelled across the street that she had a ticket for my boyfriend, since he had asked her about 3 times before that and we finally got my cousins ticket. I was already bout to cry of joy! When we got in, Vital Remains was setting up and the venue was playingIron Maiden on the speakers, i was just in the best of moods singing along. After vital remains finished their set, i moved on to the very front of the stage to check out Warbringer! They won me over definitely! It was a great show. Once they finished being amazing, We went upstairs to check out destructions merch and My boyfriend spotted the vocalist for Warbringer and stirred up a conversation, he ended up drinking a bit of beer with him. I told him that Warbringer put on a fucking great show. He was a really nice guy! We started back down stairs and as we waited for Destruction to set up, the venue had Judas Priest playing and my cousin, boyfriend and me were just air guitar soloing all up in that motherfucker! And finally the lights went out and the crowed roared! DESTRUCTION DESTRUCTION DESTRUCTION!! It was like my body was a coca cola bottle after you shake it. I was ready to fucking explode. And the madness began! I cant even start to explain how sweaty we all were,and how much fun everyone was having! When they played Satans Vengeance, I WENT WILD. It was a great fucking show man! The pit was pretty good at times! Some guy punched me in the face on accident of course and i got 3 bruises. I woke up in the morning super sore. (the sign of a good show) and just realllly tired! Anyone who went last night to the Destruction show, i hope you had fun! Cause i sure as hell did!!
