Civil Wars || Bela + Zander

Bela found herself sat on the sofa by the time Crowley had left. He was right before. There was no alcohol. So she sat with her hand balled in on of the cushions. She didn’t bother trying to relax; the tension in the air was thick.

She wasn’t mad at him, per se. She just wanted a little warning, if they were going to suddenly invite Crowley here. On their own, she could handle them. But she still didn’t know what they’d be like together. But apparently, they were fine. A slight aloofness maybe, but still… polite. Civil to each other.

It annoyed her actually. She knew it was petty. Weren’t they supposed to be at each others throats?

She glared at the wall, refusing to look at him. “Will you warn me next time we’re going to have dinner guests?”

Peek-a-boo @Grace

The room was practically spinning around as Mini opened her eyes. Well, that was at least how it felt like. She grabbed her phone to check how long her nap had lasted. She narrowed her eyebrows, muttering subdued to herself. “25 minutes?” With the vague remembrance of her pleasant dream, she was now wide awake. She let out a exaggerated sigh as she slowly but surely got up from her bed, feeling her bubble gum pink walls assault her jaded irises. She rubbed her temples, and much to her satisfaction, she swiftly realized that she’d showered, got dressed and done her makeup in advance. She rose from her messily tousled bed, and let out a heavy yawn and stretched her arms out wide as she stood up, taking the powerful and pleasing sensation of the vibrant sunshine in. She’d been lounging all day to meet Grace. She was still a bit dizzy from the MDMA she’d taken earlier, though that seemed to be considered the norm in Bristol these days. With a shrug, she walked down the stairs with hasty steps.

Mini didn’t have words for how much she’d missed Grace. Now that she finally was back, she wouldn’t waste a second of it. She was remarkably ecstatic at the fact that she was back. Considering all the drama that was surrounding her, she really needed someone to talk to. A real friend she could actually trust for a change. She got up her phone, deciding to text her. “Hey babes, meet me outside of the mall in 10 minutes, yeah? xo” She checked herself one last time in the hallway’s mirror, practically analyzed every inch of her body. Tilting her head to her side, a blank smile graced her lips before she approached the door, slamming it behind her as she exited her house, nothing in her possession but a wallet and her beloved phone.

She quickly led a path from her house and to the mall in just about 8 minutes, evidently reaching their destination before Grace had. Her eyes surveyed the concrete exterior as she sat down on a bench right in front of the entrance. She dug into her pockets, grabbing her phone and texting her that she currently was outside of the mall, waiting in an animated manner for her best mate to arrive.

Thad is digging around Jason and Terra’s apartment. He’s forgotten a gift there. A gift that had been given to him by a specific and special girl, and not only does he want it back, but he figures should said special girl find it laying around, she’d suspect he doesn’t care for it.

And the thing is, he does want it. He should have just eaten the thing, but he’d forgotten it once and then hadn’t wanted to eat it because it was a gift and why would someone give someone else food anyway, Thad would’ve liked to have grasp onto that gift for at least a month. Did chocolate spoil? Eventually, of course. How long did it take? The thought had never crossed his mind before.

Regardless, dust spinning in the sunlight, he’s zipping through all manner of possessions on the table, having already checked the fridge. Hopefully, he’d find it soon and then be there when Terra arrived home, giving him an excuse to speak to her.

Zelra Scenario 3

A/N: I don’t like this one as much, but oh well /sobs/. Hopefully you will, cuz that’s all that matters really. There’s this amazingly awesome pizza place called Garcia’s Pizza that has wall to wall arcade games everywhere. You can even play on the computers while sitting in the booths. It’s very cool, so if you ever get the chance to come to Illinois… well… that would be the only good reason to go to Decatur really. I’ve only been there once, since I live like an hour away but it was the bomb diggity yo. So Zelo works there and Clara’s friends suck.

For those of you who don’t know this is the third of five scenarios dedicated to my dongsaeng - Clara [ddeoktoki].

Fearless. Part Three

I could feel a lump rising in my throat that refused to be swallowed down. It was him. It was Mikey. He was here. Right next to me. Asking if I was okay. Wait, was he… sweating?

No, stop it. Don’t think like that.

But all my thoughts stopped when he reached his hand towards my face. Oh God, there go the butterflies again.

“It’s nothing, I swear.” I murmured.

His fingers pressed against my chin and turned my head towards his. My eyes attached themselves to his face. His eyebrows were knitted together and his brown eyes were soft. His lips were pursed in a straight line as he examined the side of my face.

“You call this nothing?” Mikey asked, gesturing to my face. “What did you do?” He asked.

“Oh so now you decide to be the nice guy?” I asked, sarcasm dripping through my words. He rolled his eyes.

“I know when to play the game and when to throw in the jersey alright?” Mikey retorted. When he pulled his hand away from my chin, I noticed something that I didn’t want to notice.

There was blood on his hand.

And it wasn’t his.

Castiel coughed as he opened the oven and black some billowed out. “Holy crap Cas, what did you do?” Dean yelped as he ran into the room, grabbed a dish towel, and started beating at the flames billowing from the oven. Castiel backed away and let his husband handle it, trying to come up with some explanation that did not involve accidentally setting fire to Dean’s pie.

wow I’m sorry that was kinda crappy. also yay compound sentences!!

{ Meme } 30 Days of Hakuoki: Day 4

Day 4. Favorite OVA episode

image

I’m a day behind on this meme but whatever.

I’ve always loved this OVA. The animation quality was really on the eh side (it was missing outlines half the time or something) but ahhh it’s so, so amazing.

It’s lighthearted and a major break from how serious the series usually is, so it’s a treat. It’s hilarious, and at the same time this cat reinforces and brings out major character traits of each member of the Shinsengumi. How Souji would kill anything, even if it’s a cat. How straightforward Saitou was, even in a ridiculous situation like this one. Yamazaki’s loyalty to Hijikata. How Kondou was so kind that he, the Commander of the Shinsengumi, was willing to pitch in and look for a cat. There’s a lot more but I’ll stop there lol.

My favorite part of the OVA was probably when Hijikata was talking to the cat. He spoke so gently to the cat, and seemed genuinely worried  that a cat had wandered into a place where it couldn’t stay. It really brought out his softer side, and it allowed Chizuru to look past his “Demon Vice-Commander” mask.

A really beautiful OVA.
