The meaning of Christmas is lost
With the bad economy and people with no jobs, our way of giving to others is lost. When a person goes out to buy a gift for their love ones, it’s not about getting them something they’d like. No. It’s about getting the cheapest thing a person can grab their fingers on.
The term, ‘It’s the thought that counts’ is bull. No one wants a present given to someone just because it’s cheap. If that person actually likes the gift someone gave them because they bought it, knowing that person will love it and it’s in their budget, then joy to them!
BUT— there are people who buy gifts by price and that’s not ‘in the spirit of christmas’. These people are forced to buy gifts because they have to and it’s the holidays. That also means giving a person a cheap gift because they want to “save money.”
The better solution is to tell that person they can’t buy anything for them and they should do the same. What’s really important is spending time with family and friends and just because the holiday has to do with gift-giving, one does not have to buy a gift half-assed. That’s what I believe. It’s better to buy a gift, not according to price but because they’ll love it. That my friend is putting ‘thought into a gift’. The other choice is not giving a gift to that person at all and just spending time together, that way, no one is forced to give each other gifts on that holiday just because it’s the holiday and everyone is happy.

I hate when people say, pretty girls shouldn’t get tattoos. Like its just so absurd, why does it matter? I feel people assume they’re trying to bring more attention to themselves. Did you guys ever think that they want to be more than just a pretty face, show that their substance, express their beliefs and love like EVERYONE else with a tattoo. It shouldn’t matter if they’re pretty or not.

Trabajamos codo a codo con la agencia Meed para crear un spot que les sirviera para la puesta de largo de su nueva oficina en Nueva York, ni más ni menos que en unas jornadas de puertas abiertas en la ONU. Meed presume de ser la agencia más saludable del mundo, y la idea principal era llevar esa filosofía a un mensaje universal, que contuviera algo unificador para todo el mundo, independientemente de sexo, raza o religión.
Encontrado el concepto, el personal de Meed consiguió reclutar a gente de muy distintos orígenes. La idea era transmitir un mensaje totalmente desenfadado y natural, tanto es así que no usamos más añadido lumínico a la situación planteada a cada personaje; La luz existente en cada sitio sirvió para captar la esencia de cada cual. Los personajes, por supuesto, no eran actores. Teníamos nuestras dudas de cómo iban a reaccionar ante la cámara, pero el mensaje en si ayudó infinitamente a crear un ambiente divertido y desenfadado donde todo fluyó con gran facilidad.
