I have just learnt that Lucy Daniels isn’t a real person and was actually just a pseudonym for various authors who wrote the Animal Ark books. My childhood is ruined. I adored those books growing up. I have the entire collection. I always wanted to meet Lucy Daniels and she doesn’t even exist!

I wanted to be Mandy Hope. I really did.
