what is the scariest horror film in your opinion , except gory horror films?
There’s not a lot of violence in Rosemary’s Baby and it’s terrifying.
That said, the scariest 100% gore-free horror films I can think of are The Haunting (1963) and The Innocents (1961). Both are completely bloodless and achieve their scares by slooooowly seeping into your brain and scaring you out of your wits. They’re very similar movies too so if you’re interested in a double feature that’ll leave you more than a little jumpy while somehow showing you absolutely nothing, yeah, go with these two.
