THE GO // IT ALWAYS HAPPENS TO YOU
Sounding like a theme tune to a cheeky british comedy from the late 70’s, but in a good way, The Go’s “It Always Happens To You” is another release from Fullertons super-hip Burger Records.
The new double album on red, green, or orange vinyl is out today.

Burger Records Release 5-Tape Box Set of Unreleased Material By The Go
The Go is undoubtedly one of the best bands to come out of Detroit’s long list of great garage rock and rock ‘n’ roll bands. They’ve released some amazing LPs in the past such as 2007’s Howl on The Haunted Side, released on Detroit’s own Cass Records, and their 1999 debut LP Whatcha Doin’ on Sub Pop. Ok, so we know that everything they’ve released to date is pretty freakin’ great, but what about all the songs that they recorded but never saw the light of day? Well, Burger Records has the answer to that question. They’re releasing a 5, count em’, 5 tape box set of unreleased tunes by The Go dating from 1996-2007. That’s over 90 tracks of Go goodness! And for those of you who might not know, Jack White was actually a member of The Go in their early days, and this box set features an unreleased song by him entitled “Turn Your Little Love Light On”. These box sets are moving faster than you can say “Go”, so head over to the Burger Records Store and order a set.

The box set comes with a full color booklet with liner notes by Bobby Harlow, a zine made by early Go member Marco Delicato, and 1” button of the classic Go logo designed by Gary Grimshaw of MC5.
