I might not be on for a while

There’s been a family emergency- my grandmother is in the hospital and things aren’t looking too good.  She went in for heart surgery and there were complications, she’s been in surgery all day but they’re saying she might not last the night.

I’m keeping this brief because I’m still in shock.  My mom’s flying up to her tomorrow.  Please keep us in your thoughts.

Fellowship, I’m tagging you all as a heads up.  If things go bad, I might be late moving in and I’ll probably be a little bit of a wreck.

All my love, everyone.

  • the disco police: do y'all ever actually cry with the intensity with which you ship something or do I just have problems
  • Sar: You have problems, but I don't think crying over an otp or a ship is the cause of them

I bought a shitton more socks and now am throwing out all my crappy ones.

It’s like Hankkuah came early!

Also, since I went school shopping, does it mean I have to pack soon?

I hope you know that I'm going to tackle you when I see you. Not slowly walk up to you and hug you. No. Flat out RUN at you from one end of the airport and LAUNCH myself at you. And you better catch me. Or we'll just go sprawling onto the floor.

Fellowship! Pictures/Vids gotta happen, okay?

Also, yeah. I’m not catching you.

Updates

Still no news about my grandmother, but mom’s flown up to see her in Cleveland Clinic. Grandma hasn’t gotten better, but she hasn’t gotten worse so there’s still hope.

My oldest sister happened to visit this weekend- she didn’t stay for long, but it was wonderful to see her in the middle of all this craziness.

I’m still not online a lot. I’m planning to do research for a comic idea I have, and maybe play some more FFVII.

This situation is completely out of my hands, so for the time being I’m just carrying on as usual.  And again, I’m so grateful that I missed out on Yule to go and see her when I had the chance.  I think I would have hated myself forever if I didn’t go with the family that weekend.

I have designed my "have you taken your meds today?" checklist
